~ City seeks loving parents for foster children ~

Richmond, VA – The City’s Department of Social Services will host a Foster Parent Orientation on Tuesday, February 21, at 6 p.m. in the department’s Marshall Street Plaza offices, 900 East Marshall Street. The orientation will detail what it takes to become a foster parent. Light refreshments will be served. Those interested in attending should call (804) 646-KIDS.

The City’s Department of Social Services is looking for foster parents to provide loving and nurturing homes. There are children in the Richmond community that need a foster parents’ help now. Foster parents are needed to offer recreational and enrichment activities that promote healthy development and to support the everyday ups and downs that all children experience.
